According to Patti, she became an Independent Educational Consultant because
“I love to guide teenagers through the transition into adulthood, help them figure out what they want to do after high school, and help them reach their educational goals. My students and their parents become ohana (like family) as I guide them through this process of preparing to leave home and continue their education in college. It is a very rewarding experience to watch young adults blossom and mature.”
Patti moved to the garden island of Kaua’i Hawaii after having raised her family outside of Chicago. She works with clients on the mainland and on Oahu and Maui through email, phone conferences FaceTime and Skype. Families on Kaua’i have the option of in-home visits. Her pro bono and outreach services on Kaua’i include helping to plan the HACAC Kauai College Fair and College Expo.
